What A Piece! Theatre
Hello and welcome to What a Piece! Theatre. I'm your host, Vincent, replacing Russell Baked and Alaistair Kooky. The regularly scheduled drama featuring mystery, murder, and intrigue will not be shown because I'm sick of the likes of Agatha, Marple, and Sherlock. And no, we won't have any of that Jane Austen nonsense either. As you can see, I'm a new host and I wish to bring you new drama based on new writers for new viewers. This next adaptation is of a board book known as the Belly Button book. How they wrangled the hippos onto one beach in the middle scene leaves me in awe. Don't miss next week's episode of What A Piece! Theatre when we continue our longstanding tradition of pretension bringing you the first filmed version of The Very Persistent Gappers of Fripp.

I love my nacho grande
Today I took my parents for a walk at the Brickworks. The farmer's market rocked...lots of fresh local organic food. Despite enjoying the quinoa salad, lentil salad and tofu veggie wrap, I went home and ate a (fake) chicken burrito all by myself. Hiking sure works up an appetite (even if I am just riding on someone's back).

Milestones

Just a quick update about some of the Vincent milestones this past week. He now has two more teeth on the bottom for a total of eight chompers.
Several times a day, he climbs the 14 steps to floor two with reckless abandon and the odd stop to gaze through the railing and giggle. He began clapping this week, sometimes to patty cake but often just to surprise you when you least expect it.
Similarly, he has taken to shaking his head back and forth in a 'no' fashion, doing what mum and dad call his Jaan Pehechaan Ho move:

It's a little faster though prompting shouts from dad to "rock and roll" which, on one occasion, it sounded like Vincent repeated.

Here come the brides

Yesterday, my aunties Pat and Carol got married.
People said I was a sharp dressed man

The excitement was so great I had to imbibe champagne to calm my nerves.

Here's DACE showing us how to lead a tango. I think. Or maybe it was the Polish folk dancing on tape in 39 installments...I'm not sure which but Auntie Carol seems to be following along nicely anyway. She must have got the same tapes by mail or DACE is a good lead.

Awwwwwww. And they say I'm cute.
Congratulations to my aunties. Love you guys lots...

Like A Surgeon (Operating For The Very First Time)
I'll let you know if there's any change in his condition but right now he appears to be dead. You see these intestines? Grey is not a good colour for intestines!
Hold this liver for a sec. I gotta get under the lung. Ah. Here's your problem! Yep. You really ought to be changing your hemoglobin every 5000 km or three months. Whatever comes first.
They call this contraption the Bernoulli Blower. No comment.
When Vincent attempted to levitate a la Charlie in Willy Wonka's fizzy lifting drink machine he seriously challenged the laws of aerodynamics. He was subsequently found guilty in a court of physics. He claimed, I regret that I have but one life to give my country and didn't my hair look bitchin' all blowing around like that? And yet it moves.
Industrial engineer or turntablist? You decide.
