She's just my EX (Vincent goes to the CNE)

No, Auntie Lindsay, I said turn the gears counter-clockwise.

A dashing young man laughs at his beautiful auntie's jokes. Some random street lunatic with a juice addiction ruins the moment.

I like my lego large.

Grammy...This is fun and all but when do I get to drive?

You, I like.*

*Trivial Pursuit moment: Captain Cook upon his return from the South Pacific would share pineapples only with his most favoured guests.

Seriously.

Big balls in Riverdale

The dog days of summer are upon us and Vincent stops to wade in olde Cabbagetown's freezing cold splash pad. Note the quivering lips.

Still, it's nicer than the 33 degree humidex.

Afterwards it's time for Ellen's favourite sport: bungee dodgeball. Avoidance is the essence of dodging which is the essence of getting out of the way. Is it forced perspective or is Vincent playing with a big ball? Only the shutterbug knows for sure.

The ball is great for Vincent to practise his crawling. He can now climb seven of fourteen steps upstairs before tiring or stopping to admire the view from a standing position....an action which strikes fear in his parents' hearts. See the bruise? That's from crawling on a level surface faster than limbs can be coordinated. We can only imagine the damage of a more vertical slip-up.

My Crazy Uncle

Carrara, where did you learn how to read books?

From your dad, you say?

Are you sure?

He seems a little nutty.

Ride to Live...Live to Ride

Vincent is marking his calendar for June 13, 2008. Will you meet him in Port Dover?

Catch the X Games where Vincent will debut the latest in extreme sports: Bungee Scooter.

Here he is putting Matt Hoffman to shame with his sick no handed MJ moonwalk.

The landing of this trick was a bit sketchy prompting the sport's participants to publically declare the importance of safety gear. Remember kids...wear a helmet. It's the best way to keep your head intact and save your brains and your mind and your brains. On the inside. Where they're supposed to be. And stuff.

The good news? He still has all his teeth. That's right. All six of them.

Crawling the floor to you

It all begins innocently enough with Vincent crawling toward a block.

Wow. He sure is getting fast at this crawling thing.

"Wait a tick! Is that a camera I see? Much more interesting than this boring old block."

Daddy, why do you look scared?

Can...al..most...reach...
Must....reach....more...

What does this part do if I push on it with all my 22 lbs?

Daddy, are you okay? What's that red stuff coming out of your eye?

Only in Canada? Pity

Vincent has developed some posh tastes in his travels. He now is in the habit of demanding harbour views as you can see in his suite in Victoria. He then demands room service...with special chairs no less. Wine glasses are seen in the background but after seeing his ID, staff brought the Blue Grouse Pinot Noir back to the kitchen. Luckily Mum-Mums (in hand) distracted him long enough not to notice. A leisurely swim at the solarium pool, a stroll to the Empress and the bebe was spent. Thanks for an amazing stay in Victoria, Uncle Brad.
