Fruit Promo

See what this is? That's right. It's a piece of fruit.

Take it from me, Vincent, that when it comes to strolling in style, the only way to go is with a piece of fruit.

Whether it be peach or pear, apple or plum,
When you try it, you'll always say "Yum!"

I enjoy apples at any time of year, but for lucky best taste, I choose exclusively in-season local organic produce.

MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN! [what Vincent yells when fruits are nearby]

Solstice

On the solstice, Mummy and Daddy planted a very special apple tree.

I helped out.

It probably should have been planted a long time ago but it took a while to find the perfect tree to mark my coming.

Now I can watch it grow with me.

I enjoyed my solstice day and it made me think of my auntie and uncle's anniversary. Happy 7th! That's like three of my lifetimes. You guys must be old, man.

ROCKS!

Very early this morning, I went down to the beach with Mummy, Daddy and Auntie Ellen.

What I like about the beach is the sand and the rocks. I pick up small rocks and ask people to throw them in the water. I like the sound of the splashes and I also like to count to three before the stones are thrown.

Sometimes I like to use a shovel to collect stones and place them in a pail. Then I like to dump the stones all over the place.

I also like when people bury my legs in the stones and sand and sometimes I'll try to do it myself. Perhaps I am trying to hide from those who might mock my mop top 'do. C'mon, parents. Time for the Little Tots Hair Shop.

I like to lift the heavy rocks and I make a weightlifter's exertion sounds when I do it. Mummy and Daddy don't like this game so much. Especially when I carry the rocks to them and I make them take the rocks from me.

Look what happens when I sit in a pile of stones. Eventually they go flying!

Happy Father's Day!

Vincent would like to wish his Daddy a very happy Father's Day. Thank you for taking the time to take me to the park every morning. I love playing with you. Thank you for making bath time so fun and diaper changes less horrible. Thank you for letting me sleep on your chest and for your great lullabies.

Jean-Paul, thank you for always putting your family first. You are an amazing person and an inspiring father. We are so grateful to have you in our lives. I know that our children will grow up to be secure, loving and sensitive because of who you are.

Pepere: Thank you for raising such an incredible son. Jean-Paul is a fantastic husband and father because of the example you set for him. We benefit every day from all of the love you and Memere gave him. Mini Vince would like to thank you for your cuddles, fun and laughter. He looks forward to your visits like none other.

Grandpa: Thank you for being such an amazing, patient father and for being an extraordinary great-grandpa. Vincent loves your weekly visits and owes his sense of humour to you.

Uncle Joe: Thank you for leading the way...we probably never would have considered parenthood if not for the example you and Aisha set. You make fatherhood look fun and (almost) easy. Vincent says you give the best swing rides ever.
