i submit 2 entries for you. One rated "G" and the other "18a".

The first, G-rated one, is that PEI is the land of gumballs and lollipops and jelly beans and all things good and tasty, hence the red soil.

The adult only reason why PEI soil is so red, is that it has soaked up centuries of bloodshed from Europe and the decimation and extermination of First Nations of the East Coast.

But you can believe the land of sugar cubes and sweet tarts explanation if that suits you better.

In honour of the National Day of Action, Vincent demands that the land be red. Such an Activist.

or

Vincent considers the environment an extension of himself and accessorizes with a red hat. Such an Egoist.
